One of the most memorable trips I took was to Kyoto, Japan, during the cherry blossom season last spring. I traveled with a close friend who shares my passion for photography and culture, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
During our time in Kyoto, we explored several beautiful temples, including Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, and Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates. We also spent time wandering through the historic Gion district, where we had the chance to see traditional wooden machiya houses and even spotted a geisha on her way to an appointment. The highlight of our trip was definitely the hanami (flower viewing) picnic we had under the cherry blossom trees in Maruyama Park, where we enjoyed local delicacies while surrounded by breathtaking blooms.
This trip was particularly memorable because of the stunning scenery and the rich cultural experiences we had. The beauty of the cherry blossoms was simply enchanting, and I felt a deep sense of appreciation for the traditions and history of Japan. Additionally, traveling with my friend allowed us to bond over our shared interests, and we created lasting memories that I will cherish for years to come.

Additionally, I would love to explore the famous Golden Circle route, which includes stunning sites like Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall, and the geothermal area in Haukadalur, home to the Strokkur geyser.

I am eager to learn about the Viking heritage and experience the warm hospitality of the Icelandic people. Moreover, the opportunity to soak in the Blue Lagoon, a famous geothermal spa, would be a perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of exploration.
